We make custom made direct moulded noise, sleeping and music plugs.

The first appointment is where we discuss what kind of plug you would like (and which colour you prefer), and take the impression. The second appointment will be the fitting. The payment for both appointments will be taken in the first meeting.

Please Note: Payment is not just for the earplugs themselves, but for

1) my time doing the impressions

2) my time processing the plug and fitting the plug

In the unforeseen event that you are not happy with the plug, we can do one repair of the plug for free.

As the price includes both appointments' time and material for the plugs, I would not be able to refund the full price, but only partial refund of fitting appointment.

Why choose custom ear protection?

Off-the-shelf plugs often slip out, cause discomfort, or create an uneven acoustic seal. Custom ear defence offers all-day comfort without pressure sores or gaps.

Ideal for various industries and hobbies

Whether you are working in construction, riding a motorbike, performing on stage, or seeking uninterrupted sleep, bespoke ear defence ensures maximum comfort and effective sound reduction.

Otoscopy by a professional

Before taking ear impressions, a qualified audiologist performs an otoscopic ear health check to ensure your ears are healthy and completely clear of excessive wax or infections.

Common issues with generic earplugs

Poor fit and discomfort

Generic foam and wax plugs can easily become loose or push earwax deeper into your ear canal, leading to blockages or irritation.

Inconsistent attenuation

Standard plugs often muffle sound unevenly, making conversation difficult and distorting music or critical warning signals.

Environmental waste

Disposable plugs contribute to plastic waste. Medical-grade silicone earplugs last for years, making them a cost-effective, eco-friendly investment.

Why choose custom moulded plugs over foam plugs?

• Perfect anatomical seal tailored to your ear canals

• Zero pressure or ache during all-day or all-night wear

• Interchangeable acoustic filters for different environments

• Durable medical-grade silicone that cleans easily with water

A comprehensive ear health assessment is always included prior to crafting your custom earplugs.

Our audiologists inspect your ear canals to make sure there are no perforations, excessive wax accumulations, or infections that could interfere with impression accuracy.

Should any wax buildup be discovered during your assessment, we can perform gentle microsuction removal right away, saving you multiple clinic visits.

This ensures that your resulting impressions produce earplugs that fit flawlessly and offer long-lasting auditory protection.

Who benefits from custom ear protection?

Custom moulded earplugs are recommended for:

• Light sleepers disturbed by snoring or urban noise

• Musicians, audio engineers, and regular concertgoers

• Motorcyclists exposed to persistent wind and engine noise

• Industrial, warehouse, farming, and factory workers

• Shooters and motorsport enthusiasts

 In-Person Impressions

To ensure a perfect fit, we need to see you in person to take an impression of your ear.

Direct moulded noise and music plugs are custom-made earplugs that provide a secure, comfortable fit while helping you manage sound levels.

Made from precise impressions of your ears, they are ideal for regular use in noisy workplaces, at live music events, during motorsport, or whenever you want to reduce noise without completely blocking out your surroundings.

Music plugs feature specialist acoustic filters that reduce volume more evenly across a range of frequencies, helping music and speech sound clearer than they would with standard foam earplugs.

Noise plugs can provide a higher level of protection where consistent noise reduction is needed.

Durable and reusable, they are a practical alternative to disposable earplugs. Their direct moulded fit also helps them remain comfortably in place for extended wear.

(Book impression appointment).

Direct moulded sleeping plugs are custom-made earplugs created specifically to reduce disruptive nocturnal noise and promote deep, restorative sleep. Fabricated from impressions of your ears, they contour seamlessly to your ear canals and will not loosen or drop out during the night.

They significantly soften loud snoring, traffic, sirens, noisy neighbours, and environmental disturbances, establishing a calm, tranquil sleeping environment. Designed with low-profile hollows, they sit flush in the ear for painless side-sleeping.

Manufactured from hypoallergenic, ultra-soft silicone, our sleeping plugs can be easily washed with warm soapy water and reused nightly for years.

Schedule your impression appointment today to enjoy restful, uninterrupted nights.
